The partner of the main character, who is an apprentice engineer. A versatile support robot that can assist in all kinds of human tasks by replacing its parts. Ponta is an older generation type robot that has been used long before the protagonist's parents were alive. They lie and say things without much thought. They enjoy taking secret photos on secret data and in general behaves in a unique way that makes it hard to believe that they are a robot.
